~~~ open rehearsal recap~~~
On April 20, DOTL’s 2020 "Emerging Commissioned NJ Choreographer," (ECNJC) Amber Sloan, for the first time ever, presented her "Open Rehearsal" using the Zoom platform.  We are all following the governmental guidelines to shelter-in-place.  Because of COVID-19, this is our  new normal, and Amber took the charge to present this year's "Open Rehearsal" with different prompts for her dancers and prompted the online audience from Drew University (with instructor and Director of DOTL's ECNJC initiative) class, students from a Montclair State University choreography class and many other guests.  The "Open Rehearsal" has become an annual spring tradition, bringing together DOTL’s "Emerging C NJ Choreographer" with dance students and dance enthusiasts in around the local Montclair community.
Amber’s emphasis on creating different ways to dance apart and together was an exciting way to drive the conversation. The afternoon's event was a chance to share how she is working with her dancers currently, and to hear responses from the audience. For DOTL, the "Open Rehearsal" is part of our core mission to connect the various dance communities in New Jersey, on our way to presenting the annual fall festival.
SAVE THE DATE!
Amber’s commission will premiere at Dance on the Lawn –
Saturday, September 12 at 3:00pm.
An incredible recommendation by the master one of utilizing the cbd oil. I had no clue about this oil before perusing this blog. In any case, thank you for telling us about these significant clinical and medical problems to keep us solid constantly. Avoid the hurtful impacts of the pot.
